Fall fundraiser for The Dance Experience Competition Dance Team! Thank you local businesses for donating❣️
3 Raffle Baskets:
1) $25 each Martello/Bellini’s, Chipotle, Dr. Milk, Shalimar, and The Dance Experience
2) $25 each Losee’s deli, Starbucks, and Shear Simplicity (expe 11/24), and a two-car-wash Hoffman’s card valued at up to $38
3) $25 each Warbler Brewery, Dunkin’ Donuts, Upstate Wine and Liquor, Shear Simplicity (exp. 11/24), and a two-car-wash Hoffman’s card valued at up to $38
Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $20. There are paper slips and envelopes at TDE studio for people who would like to purchase using cash or check (made out to Karen Williams). Or you can purchase using venmo @Karen-Williams-335. Please include basket number, name and cell phone, and dancer’s name. If you don’t personally know a dancer, please list “general.”

Break

December 16 – 20 In-Class Holiday Demonstrations and Dress-Up week (wear an old dance costume or show your holiday spirit!)

December 23 – January 1 No Classes - Holiday Break (classes resume Thursday, Jan 2nd)

January 2 – 8 Costume Balances Due

February 15 – 21 No Classes – February Break (classes resume Monday February 24th)

April 14-18 No Classes – April Break (classes resume Monday April 21st)

Friday June 6th Tentative Dress Rehearsal and Dance Photos at The Egg

Last up for our 24-25 season dance teachers. We have the director of the studio Ms. Janell!
1. Name: Ms. Janell Timmany
2. Education: Undergrad Russell Sage College major in psychology, minor dance; graduate St Rose School Psychology – Elementary School Psychologist.
3. Favorite Style: Changes between Tap, Ballet and Lyrical
4.) Styles taken: Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Swing, Tap, Modern, and Pointe

Why they love TDE: She loves The PEOPLE - Our teachers have a wide range of training and backgrounds who work well together as a team to help our dancers grow as humans and foster a life long love of dance! Our families support our philosophy of the team approach to allow their dancers to reach their potential while encouraging classmates! And of course the dancers!
5. What they are excited for this year: She is looking forward to Teaching a variety of age groups, genres, and ability levels.
6. Fun summer activities: Watching my son perform and try new things, Kayak, yoga, and lots of organizing! She also participated in community dance performance in NYC choreographed by Hell’s Kitchen Choreographer Camille Brown with these TDE dancers & their families!
